Born Ojelade Theophilus Ayomide, Cashley’s journey into the music industry is a testament to perseverance and passion.

Growing up, Cashley’s mother envisioned a future for him in academia, perhaps as a medical doctor or professor. However, Cashley’s heart beat to a different rhythm, drawn to the allure of music and the promise of the entertainment industry. Reflecting on his journey, Cashley shares, “My mom wasn’t even someone that wanted me to do this music thing, but she always believed that if I don’t go to school to be a professor medical doctor, my way is not what she’s planning for me. I know I can make it to the industry if I put in my best.”

Undeterred by initial setbacks, Cashley took to social media, sharing his talent through captivating freestyle videos on Instagram. Despite the challenges of finding sponsorship, Cashley remained steadfast in his pursuit, expressing gratitude to his mother for instilling in him the courage to chase his dreams. He also acknowledges the support of his management team at Desanty Records, led by CEO Santiago RF, and his manager Todxxautos, for their unwavering support.

Drawing inspiration from the vibrant sound of Afrobeats, Cashley’s music blends elements of Afrobeat and Afrofusion, infused with his own unique flair. He describes his sound as Afrofusion, influenced by the ever-evolving trends of Afrobeats, with a touch of emotional depth reminiscent of Afrosoul.

Though Cashley is yet to release a full album, anticipation is high for his upcoming project, “Ghetto Boi,” which promises to showcase his evolution as an artist. Speaking about his future plans, Cashley reveals, “I don’t have a collab yet, but I think the collaboration will be on the album. Looking forward to collaborating with Balloranking, Zinoleesky, and some more top artists.”

“What sets me apart is that I’m trying to come up with my own style of music, my own pattern. I mean, I’m trying to come up in my own way,” he shares, highlighting his commitment to carving out a distinct musical identity.
As Cashley’s latest single, “Life of a Loner,” continues to gain traction, fans eagerly await his next move.
